DEXTER, Mo. -- Clorine Shipman, 89, of Dexter, Mo., died Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, in Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Mrs. Shipman was born on Aug. 25, 1923, in Powe, Mo. She was a housewife and affiliated with the Church of Christ.
On May 11, 1940, she was married to Willie Andrew Shipman in Dexter, Mo. He preceded her in death on May 6, 2009.
Survivors include one sister, Theoda Litzler of Stephens City, Va.; two grandsons; four great- grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. Funeral services will held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Hagy Cemetery in Dexter.
