Christal Dawn Gaddy Washington, 33, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., unexpectedly passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018 in St. Louis, Mo.
She was born May 19, 1985 to Larry Gaddy and JoBeth Chotrow. She is survived by her father Larry Gaddy and her two sons, Isaac Washington and Blake Pirtle.
Her biological family includes: adoptive mother Ruth Ann Schaefer; siblings Fredrick Sparks, Richard Sparks, Mark Schaefer, Richard Schaefer, James Schaefer, Amber Schaefer and Angela Schaefer.
She also is survived by her foster mother, Gloria Wilson, and foster siblings Jolan Brady, April Sharp, Jessica Ferguson, Nicole Moreno and Ruth Kackley.
Christal is also is survived by the Clark and Ronnie Garcia foster home and foster siblings Ruth Garcia, Amanda Fortenberry, Crystal Logan, Leah Webb, Desiree Ajanel , Aimee Adams and Mandi White.
She was blessed with many close friends including Daniel Smith and Heather Brannon Tooley. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, infectious personality and love for others.
She enjoyed time with her loved ones swimming, fishing and going on trips.
Christal was an organ donor, giving the gift of life to many people. She will forever be in our hearts.
A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 15, 2018, at Sacred Heart Cemetery and was officiated by Deacon David Farris. Donations may be made to the Fowler-Sullivan Funeral, 844 Cedar St. P.O. Box, 1408, Poplar Bluff, Mo. 63901., in her name.
