Chester Bunyard

WILLIAMSVILLE — Chester Justin Bunyard, 41, of Williamsville passed away May 10, 2020.

He was born Oct. 28, 1978, in Cape Girardeau to parents, William “Dale” and Theresa (Haddock) Bunyard.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Samuel and Fern Haddock of Lowndes, and grandfathers, John William “Bill” Bunyard and Raymon Cothern Sr.

Chester is survived by his parents, William “Dale” and Theresa Bunyard of Williamsville; children, Chester “Justin” and William “Billy” Bunyard of Williamsville; wife, Shawna Richardson; sister, Lara (Ryan) Hubbard of Jackson, Tennessee; grandmother, Betty Cothern of St. Clair; nephew, Alex Hubbard of Jackson, Tennessee; and nieces, Adeline and Evelyn “Evie” Hubbard of Jackson, Tennessee.

Chester attended Missouri Welding Institute in Nevada, Missouri, and worked in construction among various other jobs. Chester was a lively soul, who loved making others laugh. He was always willing to help when he saw friends or others in need.

Visitation was held Thursday, May 14, 2020, at the Ruegg Funeral Home in Williamsville, Missouri. A graveside service followed at Carson Hill Cemetery with Bro. John England officiating.

Doug Bunyard, Roy Cothern, Matthew Cothern, Ryan Hubbard, Wesley Owens and Mike Goebel served as pallbearers.
