Charlotte Lynn McNece was born December 21, 1955 to Richard L. McNece and Gail Davis McNece in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She went to her heavenly home on June 25th, 2020 surrounded by her loved ones.

Though born in Jonesboro, Charlotte was raised in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She graduated from Poplar Bluff High School in 1974 and Three Rivers College in 1976. While in college she began working at Gift Chest Jewelers and the Whitworth family became her family too. She worked over 20 years at C.V.I. Laser, first in Florida then New Mexico. She was smart, loyal and sassy. Charlotte loved the water, lake, river and ocean. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren, taking them on trips, shopping and of course the river. The scriptures tell us that heaven is more beautiful than we can imagine and if there is a river that runs through it that is where you will find her.

Charlotte is survived by her mother Gail Doss; son Ryan Dicken; daughter Stephanie Welsh; and grandchildren Alisah Dicken, Kadin Welsh, Karson Dicken, Bradin Welsh and Ella Dicken.

She was proceeded in death by her grandparents Jeff and Effie Davis and Clyde and Georgia McNece; father Richard McNece; step-father Jerry Doss; and brother Greg McNece.

A graveside service and burial will be held Monday June 29, 2020 at the City Cemetery at 1 p.m. with Rev Frank Chlastak officiating. Memorials may be made to UCAN or First Christian Church Poplar Bluff.

Charlotte was greatly loved and it was a privilege to have her in our lives. She will be greatly missed.
