Charles “Chuck” Warren, 61, died Saturday, May 2, at his home in Neelyville.

Born on June 13, 1958, to Ruby Berlene and Miller Warren in St. Louis, Warren was a commercial truck driver and had been a resident of Butler County since 1981.

On Dec. 29, 1986, he married Pamela Rose Gould in Poplar Bluff. She survives.

Also surviving are a stepson, James Collier of Neelyville, two daughters; Sherril Lynn House and husband Scott of Imperial, Mo., and Jenifer Dawn Davis of St. Louis; brothers Richard “Rick” Davis of Neelyville and Dennis Warren of Harviell; sisters Sharron Sargent Leach of Neelyville and Kimberly Ann Gould Roofe of Corning, Ark.; grandchildren Ashley, Kaitlyn, Houston and Payton, and one great-grandson, Lucas.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Joshua Dale Collier.

Warren loved to travel, enjoyed the ocean, reading the Bible and spending time with his grandchildren.

He was a member of the VFW at Naylor and Pilgrim’s Rest Church in Fairdealing.

Warren also served in the U.S. Navy on board the U.S.S. Enterprise.

A funeral service, conducted by Pastor Ron Payne, will be held at noon on Thursday, May 7, at the Neelyville Cemetery.
