Brenda Kay Blurton, 65, of Poplar Bluff departed this life on Sept. 27, 2018 at her residence.
She was born on Jan. 23, 1953 in Dexter, Mo. to the late Edward and Helen Reed. On Sept. 22, 1979 she was married to Jimmy Blurton in Poplar Bluff. He preceded her in death on July 18, 2017.
She was a member of the New Home General Baptist Church. She loved watching her grandchildren, being outdoors, and shopping.
Surviving are her children, Danny Russom and wife Debbie, Wanda Eastwood and husband Mark, Pam Willis and husband Tim, Sarah Mullins and Guy Ray, Timmy Blurton. Several grand and great-grandchildren, one sister Pat Moman, several nieces and nephews, special nieces Debbie Russom, Jeannie Wlodarcik a special nephew Devin Russom.
Besides her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Joann Whoberry, Norma Reed, by two brothers, Robert and Ronald Reed.
Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Calvin Buhler officiating burial will follow in the Old Oak Hill Cemetery.
