DEXTER, Mo. -- Robert Lynn "Bob" Foushee, 61, of St. Peters, Mo., died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011, at his home.
Mr. Foushee was born on Jan. 11, 1950 at Gideon, Mo. He had a faith in God, was a former accountant, was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan since 1957, having attended many baseball games and World Series games that the Cardinals participated in. He had an extensive St. Louis Cardinal memorabilia library that dated back to the early days of the Cardinals. He was also a fan of the St. Louis Rams. He was a graduate of Dexter Senior High School and a former resident of Dexter, Mo..
He is survived by a brother, David Boyce Foushee of Cape Girardeau, Mo.: a sister, Mayme Jo Nelson of Richardson, Texas: three nephews: two nieces; his stepmother, Judy Foushee of Bloomfield, Mo.
Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m., Friday, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. Funeral services will then be conducted at 2 p.m.. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with David Lee and Rev. Mike Watkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
