Bennie Moore Jr.

Bennie Ray Moore Jr., 66, of Poplar Bluff died Dec. 3, 2020 at Saint Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro, Ark.

He was born Aug. 2, 1954 to the late Benny Ray Moore Sr. and Mary Janice (Edwards) Moore. On Oct. 19, 1994, he married Janet (Rohan) Moore. She preceded him in death Dec. 19, 2014.

Bennie was a veteran having served in the United States Army. He had worked in the scrapyard industry and loved fishing, hunting, collecting arrowheads.

Surviving is his son, Nickolas Moore; one brother, Macklin J. Moore; three sisters, Bernice Pickard (Wayne), Margie Bostic, Martha K. Bean; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Janice Moore, Mary Ann Moore; a brother, Jackie Wayne Moore.

The family will be having and inurnment at noon Saturday Dec. 19, 2020 at Jimmerson Cemetery near Zalma. A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
