Benjamin Tanksley Jr.

Benjamin “Sonny” Tanksley Jr., 68, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away suddenly from a massive heart attack Nov. 4, 2020 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Sonny was born Aug. 20, 1952 to the late Benjamin and Lottie (Watson) Tanksley in Poplar Bluff. He married his beloved wife Angela “Angie” Tanksley July 27, 1986 in Clarkton, Missouri.

Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 2020 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, 2020 in the Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home with Rev. Shelvie Stephens officiating. There will be a procession leaving the funeral home by 2 p.m. to Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, where Pastor Greg Mullins will officiate.
