DONIPHAN, MO. -- Barbara V. Gettings, 75, of Doniphan, Mo., died Monday, April 2, 2012 at her residence.
Mrs. Gettings was born Jan. 30, 1937, in Grandin, Mo. She was a member of the Soil and Water Board. She enjoyed raising cattle, spending time with her family and friends, gardening, and bluegrassing.
She is survived by two sons, David and Tom; seven grandsons, John, Eric, Jeff, Seth, Tristan, Matthew, and Mark; and three great-grandchildren, Landen, Kaylee, and Addison.
She was preceded in death by her son Fred.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Edwards Funeral Home. A short service will follow.
