Alma Wooldridge

DONIPHAN. Mo. — Alma Alene Layne Wooldridge, 86-year-old of Doniphan, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2020 at Riverways Manor in Van Buren, Missouri.

Alma was born Feb. 27, 1934 in Rector, Arkansas to the late Clyde Leo and Luda (Bradley) Layne.

Alma was married to Bill Wooldridge in Corning, Arkansas in March of 1951. He preceded her in death.

Alma enjoyed reading her Bible and western romance novels. She loved watching and feeding the birds, especially the beautiful cardinals and hummingbirds. She enjoyed working in her yard, flowers, and her asparagus patch. Alma also enjoyed square dancing with her friends. She was a beautiful and kind lady and will be missed by many.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Friday, Nov. 20, 2020 in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. in the King Cemetery.
