FISK, Mo. -- Alma Adell Finley, age 83, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Raised in Southeast Missouri, Mrs. Finley was born September 6, 1934 in New Madrid County, Mo. to the late Martin Luther and Audrey Vera (James) Rhodes. FISK, Mo. -- Alma Adell Finley, age 83, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Raised in Southeast Missouri, Mrs. Finley was born September 6, 1934 in New Madrid County, Mo. to the late Martin Luther and Audrey Vera (James) Rhodes. Growing up she attended Caledonia Elementary School and Fisk High School. She attended First Assembly of God Church, and Recycling Grace in Poplar Bluff.

On Dec. 23, 1976, Mrs. Finley married Albert Dale Finley. He survives.

Also surviving are one daughter: Linda Cato of Holly Springs, Mississippi; two step-daughters: Carmelitta Finley Tiffany of Scottville, Mich., and Marsha Sands of Butler, Ky.; six grandchildren: David Bennett and wife Julianna, Elizabeth Tiffany, Douglas Tiffany and wife Linzie, Susan Hoadley, J.D. Hoadley and Jennifer Inskeep; seven great-grand children: Cecily Layne Green, Henry Tiffany, Juli Anna Daniels, Sara, Sasha and Lillian Hoadley, Travis and Emma Inskeep; one sister: Nadine (Rhodes) Shelby of Flint, Mich.; Several Nieces & Nephews and many special friends. Mrs. Finley was also preceded in death by one sister: Louise (Rhodes) Cato; and one brother: Norman Rhodes. Visitation was at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 19th, 2018 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral followed at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Sandra Mick officiating.
