Agnes Geneva (Roberson) Miller was born on Jan. 17, 1943, in Tutwiler, Miss., and left her earthly home on Janu. 15, 2018, in Springfield, Mo., at the age of 74.
Agnes was a member of the First Baptist Church of Republic and enjoyed singing in the church choir. She loved spending time with her friends and traveling. She especially enjoyed reading, playing her organ, crocheting, and spending time with her cat Snickers. Her favorite music was old fashion southern gospel and her cooking specialties were chicken and dumplings and her most famous Christmas cheese logs.
She leaves behind a daughter, Angie Menz of West Plains, Mo.; two sons, Jeff Miller and wife Kim of Dexter, Mo., and Steve Miller of Advance, Mo.; two granddaughters, Haley Menz and Kylie Miller; five grandsons, Chad Menz and wife Amelia, Jordan Miller and fiancé Jessica, Austin Miller and fiancé Natalie, Ethan Miller, and Kade Miller; three brothers, Jimmy Roberson and wife Carol, Kenneth Roberson and wife Debbie, and David Roberson and wife Roely; two sisters, Beverly Wilson, and Becky Mendosa and husband Sam; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and special friends, John Patton and wife Megan, Emily Logan, and Vicki Hale.
She was preceded in death by her father, WM Roberson; her mother, Mary Roberson; a brother Bobby Roberson; and a sister, Diane Mooring.
Services were held Jan. 20, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Republic, Mo. under the direction of Meadors Funeral Home in Republic. Burial followed in Woodlawn Cemetery in Hayti, Mo. Family and friends may share online condolences at www.meadorsfuneralhome.com.
