Butler County Firefighters doused two early morning mobile home fires Sunday and Monday.

At 4:17 a.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to a single wide mobile home fire at 1448 County Road 608. According to fire reports the structure, owned by Timothy Luther, was fully involved when the crews arrived.

Three trucks and 10 firefighters responded. They used 2,000 gallons of water to put out the fire.

Monday at 2:39 a.m., the department responded to 1273 Highway B to a second mobile home fire, this one owned by Ricky McNurty.

According to the report, the home was destroyed. Responding were three fire department trucks and 10 firefighters, who used 1,500 gallons on the fire.
