Two Butler County teens were seriously injured in an ATV accident Tuesday afternoon.
The accident occurred just after 2 p.m. in the 900 section of County Road 661 in Broseley, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
A male and a female, both 16 of Qulin, were southbound on a 2001 Yamaha Big Bear when the ATV traveled off the right side of the road and struck a tree, ejecting the male.
The male, who was driving, was taken by Air Evac to Cardinal Glennon Hospital in St. Louis. The female was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
