Three Rivers College Alumni and Friends are planning the first-ever “Chicks Only Eggstravaganza” with food, drink, egg hunts and prizes, including a grand prize from Breakthrough Wellness valued at $3,000.

This women-only event is 4-6 p.m. April 1, at the Westwood Hills Country Club in Poplar Bluff. There will be refreshments, cocktails, an egg hunt and an “egg pull” for various prizes. In the egg pull, participants select from a mix of good eggs and duds to win a prize. In addition to the first round of prizes, all egg pull numbers will be entered into a drawing for a grand prize donated by Breakthrough Wellness, valued at more than $3,000. All attendees have the opportunity to win.

All women 21 and older are invited. Tickets are $25 each and include admission, one egg pull, one drink ticket and snacks; only 100 tickets are available. There will be 100 additional egg pulls available for purchase at $20 each. Also at the event, there will be an Easter egg hunt for an additional $10 per person, with various prizes offered.

TRC’s Eggstravaganza event committee is seeking donations of certificates, items or funds to help purchase prizes. Tax receipts are available upon request, and committee members can pick up donated items as well.

All proceeds benefit the Three Rivers Endowment Trust Excellence Fund, which funds grant requests from Three Rivers College faculty and staff for projects benefitting the learning experience for TRC students.
