The Top 30 seniors at Poplar Bluff High School were recognized at the 42nd annual Top 30 banquet Thursday night.

The Top 30 seniors at Poplar Bluff High School were recognized at the 42nd annual Top 30 banquet Thursday night.

After eating dinner, the honored seniors and their guests listened to the address given by PBHS alum Todd Bullington. Bullington currently is the executive vice president and chief lending officer at Sterling Bank in Poplar Bluff. Bullington introduced the students to his personal ‘Five Cs’ for life:

Coachable — to accept correction;

Challenges ­to accept with resilience and develop strength;

Competitive ­— to maintain an edge for success;

Change — embrace it to move forward;

Character — all decisions in all aspects affect character.

In addition to officially recognizing the top 30 seniors, the school also named and recognized the top five members of the junior class.

Among the top 30 Seniors are: Raymond Matthew Bourd, Gabriel Martin Burke, Chloe Addison Cambron, Logan Rudy Hurshel Davis, Cody James Dearborn, Emma Rosalie DeGaris, Cori Addison Duncan, Rachel Faith Hamann, Savannah Gracie Hanner, Kadin John Hillis, Ava Lynn Kingree, Kelsey Anne Kramer, Ashlyn Mae McIntyre, Brooke Dakota Montgomery, Elijah Allen Moore, Grace Abigail Neighbors, Madeline Mackenzie Payne, Ian Michael Pierce, Ashtyn McKenzie Reese, Cameron Settle, Addison Shell, Cameron James Sisk, Nicholas James Spain, Sophronia Lea Starnes, Rebecca Lou Stevens, Carson Graham Todd, Heaven Paige Werkmeister, Mason Lane West and Kennedy Marie Zgaynor.

The top five juniors are: Katherine Mackinley Cox, Jack Douglas Funke, Ashton Jewell Mays, Cyrus Mahmoud Sagharichi, and Paden Elizabeth Thornton.
