"Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. For if the word spoken by angels was steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward, how shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation: which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that hear him? God also bearing them witness with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and the gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will." Hebrews 2:1-4.. ...

Since the message (gospel) of Christ leads us to Him and salvation, we must not look to keeping the law for salvation for the law was given as a school master to bring us to Christ that we might be justified by faith (in Him). Galatians 3:24. If we depend on keeping the law for salvation instead of accepting Christ as our savior, how shall we escape the lake of fire? For if we could have been saved, that is, reconciled unto God by keeping the law, then Jesus came unnecessarily. In as much as "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God, and the wages of sin is death," then we are all under the sentence of death. Romans 3:23 and 6:23. The only way we could escape the sentence of death is for someone to die in our place. That is exactly what Jesus did for everyone who accepts Him as their lord and savior. He did not take the nature of angels (spiritual beings), but He took on Himself the seed of Abraham by being born of a human mother that He might be a merciful and faithful high priest in all things pertaining to God to make reconciliation for the sins of His people. For in that, He himself hath suffered. Being tempted, He is able to succor (help) them that are tempted." See Hebrews 2:16:28. In that, He himself suffered all manner of temptations that are common to us, He is able to feel with us the power of temptation. Do not try to stand alone.
