His career began as the cashier/operations officer for The National Bank of Caruthersville in 1991, eventually moving into lending before being named president and chief executive officer in 1998.  He has worked in every area of community banking during his career.

He is a current member of the Economic Development Committee for the City of Caruthersville and is an active board member for the Caruthersville Golf Association.

Flowers joined The Bank of Missouri in December 2015. He has been in banking for eight years. Born and raised in Steele, he graduated from Arkansas State University in 2008 with a bachelors in finance with an emphasis in banking.

Flowers started his banking career as a community lender. He then worked as a consumer lender and now is a commercial lender, in addition to his new role as community bank president.

Flowers serves on the board for the Steele Youth League, which oversees the youth baseball and basketball leagues, where he also coaches. He also serves as vice-chair of the Housing Authority in Steele.

“I am excited for how The Bank of Missouri will be able to serve the Bootheel through these two promotions,” said Paul Gard, regional president for The Bank of Missouri. “Brandon and Brian are both strong leaders. Their roots are firmly planted in the Bootheel.

“Both are very active in the Steele and Caruthersville communities in many clubs and organizations. They both have the experience and strong teams to serve The Bank of Missouri in this region.”
