Texas man seriously injured in Ripley County crash

A 30-year-old Fort Worth, Texas, man was seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash at 5:03 p.m. Monday, Aug. 24, on County Road 142E-26, five miles east of Doniphan.

According to the report, David J. Ruder was operating a 2005 Ford pickup southbound when it ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree.

Ruder was flown to Regional One Health Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee, for treatment.
