Sturdivant woman seriously injured in Tuesday crash

A 56-year-old Sturdivant woman was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash at 11:42 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, on Highway C, five miles west of Advance.

According to the report, Charles A. Jackson, 47, of Bloomfield was operating a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro westbound when it crossed the center line and struck a 2015 Chevrolet Traverse head on.

The other driver, Judy L. Wiseman, was taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau for treatment.
