Three area students have been awarded scholarships to attend Southeast Missouri State University for the 2018-2019 academic year:
Joshua Hamann of Puxico, Mo., has received the Regents' Scholarship. Hamann is the son of Jeff and Julie Hamann of Puxico, and will be a 2018 graduate of Puxico High School.
Chad Smith Jr. of Dexter, Mo., has received the University Scholarship and Residence Life Leadership Award. Smith is the son of Chad Smith Sr. and Mellissa Holt of Dexter, and will be a 2018 graduate of Dexter High School.
Emily Vickers of Bernie, Mo., has received the Residence Life Leadership Award. Vickers is the daughter of Lonnie and Christi Vickers of Bernie, and will be a 2018 graduate of Bernie High School.
