Tickets for the 32nd annual Women Aware Conference will be $40 until Sept.10. Registration fees will increase to $50 from Sept. 11 to Sept. 17, when advance ticket sales will end, so the number of those attending may be given to catering.
The conference will be from 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Sept. 19 at the Black River Coliseum.
Tracey Tarpley, who is in charge of registration, said, “We will have a very limited number of tickets available at the door the day of the event.”
Tarpley points out people “definitely need to attend the event this year since we will have two keynote speakers.”
Hometown native Jennifer Webb is the morning speaker and Kechi Okwuchi, who was one of the finalists on “America’s Got Talent,” will speak in the afternoon, Tarpley said.
Approximately 60 vendors are planning to display their goods and services at the event, so there will be lots of shopping opportunities, Tarley said.
Break out sessions will provide fun and informative issues “we women tend to worry about in our home and business life,” she said.
Karon Campbell of Tasteful Creations will cater the meal “so you know the food will be superb,” Tarley said.
To purchase tickets in advance, go to the Women Aware Inc. Facebook page and look under the events tab, which will pull up the conference. Click the “get tickets button,” which will reroute to the Women Aware Eventbrite page. Anyone who would like to buy in person may stop by the Productive Staffing office, 502 Poplar St., during business hours and pay with a check or cash.
