Pamela Lagura is Sacred Heart's September Student of the Month and Sacred Heart's preschool student of the month is Paxton Smith.
Pamela is in the eighth grade. She lives with her parents, Peter and Pearlie Lagura. She has an older brother P.J. and a younger sister Pauline.
Pamela enjoys watching movies with her family. Her favorite activity is reading books because she finds it relaxing. Her favorite book is "The One". Pamela says it is a really cute, cheesy book, but a little sad.
Her favorite subject is English because it gives her more time to read.
Her best memories at Sacred Heart are sitting under the tree house, talking and laughing with all of her friends.
When Pamela grows up, she would like to be a nurse. She wants to help people be healthy and feel better.
In her spare time, Pamela likes to watch videos or read. The only sport she does is swimming. She loves to hang out with her friends and when she does, she always has a good time.
Paxton lives with his parents Heath and Jessica Smith along with his brothers Peyton and Parker. Paxton is in Mrs. Vicki's Preschool 3 class. Paxton enjoys going out on the boat with his family. He also enjoys playing fun games on the tablet.
His favorite part of school is drawing because he likes making pretty pictures. His favorite memory of Sacred Heart is playing in the water during summer school. His favorite book is a Choo Choo train book because he likes Thomas the Train.
When Paxton grows up he wants to become a doctor. He wants to help people who are sick.
In his free time, Paxton likes to play outside and mow with his dad. He also likes to watch and cheer on his brother at his baseball games. In addition, he enjoys helping his dad with his big, big truck.
