An ATM in Puxico was robbed over the weekend, according to the Stoddard County Sheriff’s Department.

It is believed this incident could be related to similar thefts in Poplar Bluff and Rolla, Missouri, authorities said.

The sheriff’s department was alerted at 4:51 a.m. Sunday to an alarm call at First Midwest Bank of Puxico, according to a press release.

“Upon the arrival of law enforcement, it was discovered that the ATM machine had been broken into and a undisclosed amount of money was missing,” officials said. “A vehicle was also still on scene and it was later discovered the vehicle had been stolen from the Dexter area.

“During the investigations it was discovered that the suspects were three black males.”

This incident is being investigated by the Stoddard County Sheriff’s Office and Puxico Police Department.
