Rev. Donald Richmann, pastor of Heritage Free Will Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff, is retiring.
Richmann said, “After 55 years of serving in the pastoral ministry, I have made the decision to retire.”
As of Dec. 31, he will officially retire.
“The church needs someone who has a desire to preach, teach, win souls and lead the church to higher heights and greener pastures,” Richmann said.
Richmann invites any minister who is qualified and feels he and his family could be the special ones who would meet the need for the church to call 573-714-3142 for more information.
The church members describe Heritage Free Will Baptist Church as being, “a small church here in Poplar Bluff with BIG spirits.
“We are wanting to grow so that we can provide programs in our church for children and also for the adults. We have an excellent time in worship every Sunday and Wednesday night.”
Sunday school starts at 9:45 a.m. and worship service starts at 10:45 a.m. The Sunday night service starts at 6 p.m. Wednesday night services begin at 7 p.m. The church is located at the corner of 12th and Gardner streets, with a future location at the north end of Township Line Road.
