A Poplar Bluff man has been arrested on charges of first degree rape and additional charges.
Jason Hicks-Simpson, 46, of Poplar Bluff was taken into custody Wednesday, March 20, according to the Poplar Bluff Police Department.
He faces charges of possession of child pornography, first degree rape, first degree sodomy and incest.
“Officers were dispatched to a residence in reference to inappropriate photos and a video of a minor. Hicks-Simpson was positively identified in the photos and video,” police reported. “Several phones were seized containing evidence of all the charges against Hicks-Simpson.”
Hicks-Simpson was processed and lodged in the Butler County jail.
