On Easter Sunday, worshipers of Heartland Christian Family Church arrived to find their pastor’s office had been ransacked, along with other areas of the church. According to police reports, Senior Pastor Kevin McAnulty arrived to find the window in his office broken. His desk was damaged and its contents scattered across the room. A safe was missing, which contained a wedding band and engagement ring. A guitar was also taken from the pastor’s office...

On Easter Sunday, worshipers of Heartland Christian Family Church arrived to find their pastor’s office had been ransacked, along with other areas of the church.

According to police reports, Senior Pastor Kevin McAnulty arrived to find the window in his office broken. His desk was damaged and its contents scattered across the room. A safe was missing, which contained a wedding band and engagement ring. A guitar was also taken from the pastor’s office.

Individuals broke a inside window to access a financial office, where a computer was damaged and about $50 was taken from a desk.

A youth room also saw damage, with items knocked over.

The pastor reported seeing a black older model passenger car leave the parking just prior to contacting police.

The burglary occurred between 7:30-8:09 a.m. April 21.

The church estimates the damage and missing items total about $2,200.
