Justin Robert Midyett, 29, of St. Peters reported 1:04 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, that several tools were missing from the back of his truck. According to the report, Midyett was staying at Drury Inn on the evening of Tuesday, Nov. 26. After leaving for work, he noticed a 1,400 foot rope, a 3Z antenna alignment tool, a porter cable sawzall drill and a Milwaukee drill were missing from his work truck...

According to the report, Midyett was staying at Drury Inn on the evening of Tuesday, Nov. 26. After leaving for work, he noticed a 1,400 foot rope, a 3Z antenna alignment tool, a porter cable sawzall drill and a Milwaukee drill were missing from his work truck.

Patricia Jean Plumb, 56, of the 900 block of Spring Street reported at 7:19 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 26, that two bicycles were stolen from her carport.

According to the report, bicycles were black/red 20” hyper/roadmaster with noticeable brake damage.

Breana G. Dickey, 23, of the 2600 block of Poplar Bluff and 3400 block of JJ Highway in Williamsville, reported at 1:07 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, that her cat was shot with an arrow.

According to the report, the veterinarian said the cat had significant bruising from being kicked or beaten before shot. The arrow had a practice tip and two black feathers and a red cock feather.

Cody Derrick Marks, 38, of the 1500 block of Alice and 200 block of W. Lexington was arrested at 4:18 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, on three failure to appear warrants; two for driving while revoked and one for no insurance. He was processed at the police station and later released.

Adam Rivers, 36, of the 600 block of Cynthia was arrested 11:57 a.m. Friday, Nov. 29, on a failure to appear warrant for possession of a controlled substance and probation violation. He was booked in the Butler County jail.

Thomas Scott Allen, 29, of the 100 block of C Highway and 1900 block of Marshall was arrested at 10:51 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, on a Butler County warrant on an original charge of larceny stealing. He was booked in the Butler County jail.

Reddish Drilling in Doniphan reported at 10:03 a.m., Nov. 6, the theft of a trailer and drills within it.

According to the report, the company was working on drilling a well in the 400 block of County Road 472 and had left a 20-foot tandem axle trailer at the location. Nobody had checked on it for approximately three weeks when an employee went out to pick up equipment when he noticed the trailer and approximately 15 drills within it were missing.

The owner of the residence told police it had disappeared about three weeks prior, but that she had been informed that the company would be coming to collect it and assumed that’s what had happened.

The investigation is ongoing.

Poppy L. Norden, 51, of the 3900 block of County Road 459 reported at 4:39 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 28, that several items had been stolen from her residence.

According to the report, Norden left the residence about 7 a.m. the day prior to visit family and when she returned the next day, she found a flat screen TV, a laptop, a lock box, a space heater, a Canon camera and a video camera were missing.

John Francis West, 25, of Qulin reported at 9:57 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 28, that military gear from his shed was missing.

According to the report, West had last seen the gear about a week prior when he put it in the shed. The gear included several bags and cold weather clothing.

Jeanette Burpo, 58, of Broseley reported at 1:56 p.m. , Nov. 21, that her residence had been entered and several items were missing.

According to the report, a stove, chairs, a couch and tables were missing.

Sandra K. Bowman, 57, of Piedmont was arrested at 9:30 p.m. Fridy, Nov. 29, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), speeding and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. She was booked in the Wayne County Jail and later released.

Christopher A. Green, 22, of Poplar was arrested at 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, on two failure to appear warrants for stealing and possession of a controlled substance, and on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, driving while suspended and failure to drive on the right half of the road. He was booked in the Butler County jail on 24-hour hold.

Cecil Eugene Gunter II, 47, of the 100 block of Route 11 reported at 8:40 a.m. Friday, Nov. 29, about fraudulent use of a credit card.

According to the report, Gunter was made aware of a declined charge on a credit card at PetsWay and told officers the card was most likely stolen from his mailbox as he was expecting a new one to arrive, but hadn’t seen it.
