An employee at Save-A-Lot at 452 Hwy 53 reported at 9:09 a.m. Dec. 13, that on Dec. 8, a white male stole two packages of Pop-Tarts.

An employee at Save-A-Lot at 452 Hwy 53 reported at 11:59 a.m. Dec. 13, that a white female concealed food items in her purse and left the store without paying for them. She left the property in a tan Chevrolet passenger vehicle.

Officers investigated a confrontation at 4:47 p.m., Dec. 13, between two adult females at Jay’s Corner Store at 1040 S. Broadway. No injuries were reported and no enforcement action was taken.

Patricia Hawken reported at 4:11 p.m. Dec. 13 that her debit card was used to make unauthorized purchases after she lost it.

An employee at Sonic Drive-In at 214 S. Westwood Blvd. reported at 5:03 p.m. Dec. 13 that a customer left without paying for their food after their debit cards were declined.

Justin Townsend reported at 5:17 p.m. Dec. 13 that his vehicle was struck by another vehicle on West Maud Street. The other vehicle left the scene.

Randy Foster, 50, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at his residence at 8:40 p.m. Dec. 13 in the 1200 block of North Fifth Street. Foster was booked in on a Butler County warrant for failure to appear on peace disturbance. Bond was set at $2,500 and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Melvin Loness, 51, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 4:33 a.m. Dec. 14 at Rhodes 101 Convenience Store. Loness was booked in on a charge of first-degree trespassing and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.
