An employee at Sterling Bank, 2801 Oak Grove Road, reported at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, water hoses, a sprinkler, and a hydrant key were taken from the property. The theft was captured on surveillance video.

A resident at the Manor nursing facility, 2071 Barron Road, reported at 2:20 pm Thursday, Aug. 31, an adult female acquaintance stole his cell phone.

An employee at the Animal Welfare Alliance, 1904 S. Westwood Blvd., reported at 2:29 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, a tablet was stolen from their office.

Anna Patterson, 36, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 2:41 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, at Walmart Supercenter, 333 S. Westwood Blvd. Patterson was booked on charges of stealing and resisting arrest and lodged in the Butler County jail.

Brian Hodge was arrested at 6:33 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, in the 400 block of North C Street on a Faulkner County, Arkansas, warrant for probation violation, a Greene County, Arkansas, warrant for failure to register as a sex offender, and resisting arrest. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Officers responded at 6:52 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, to a residence in the 600 block of North Sixth Street for a report of a fight. Doyle Cates, 43, Nicholas Tomblin, 33, and Shelby White, 28, all of Poplar Bluff, were issued summons for affray and released at the scene.

Takoda Pruden reported at 7:45 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, his motorcycle was stolen from 1627 Spring St.

Teresa Withem reported at 8:44 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, her son used her debit card to make an unauthorized withdrawal from an ATM. The matter was referred to the prosecutor for review.

Amber Fowler reported at 10:35 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, her van was struck while it was parked in the 300 block of South Eighth Street. The other vehicle left the scene.
