Piedmont man seriously injured in Reynolds County crash

A 75-year-old Piedmont man was seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash at 6:48 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, on Highway AA, three and one-half miles west of Piedmont, in Reynolds County.

According to the report, John L. Butuso was operating a 2013 Kia westbound when it ran off the left side of the road, struck a tree and overturned.

Butuso was flown to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau for treatment.
