A 37-year-old man was seriously injured Sunday night when he was struck by two vehicles on Roxie Road (County Road 450) just west of Poplar Bluff — and one of the drivers allegedly was intoxicated.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Kimberly D. Trice, 53, of Poplar Bluff was operating a 2017 GMC Canyon eastbound at 9:28 p.m. Sunday when she struck Jeremy T. Lynn, 37, of Poplar Bluff, which then resulted in Lynn being struck by an eastbound 2009 Dodge Charger operated by Heather A. Adams, 32, of Poplar Bluff.

Lynn was transported by Air Evac to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.

At 9:59 p.m., Trice was arrested in Butler County on suspicion of DWI. She was released.
