Pageants for all ages are slated for the Missouri Peach Fair in Campbell from Aug. 18-26.

Kicking off the fair Friday, Aug. 18, Miss Missouri Peach Fair Queen will be crowned in the Campbell Community Building. The competition will begin at 8 p.m. and is for ages 16-19. Competition will be conducted in pageant wear and casual wear.

Other requirements are contestants must be single, having never been married, have a child or had an abortion. Missouri residency is not a requirement. The Missouri Peach Fair Queen is required to reign over the Missouri Peach Fair.

A queen and four alternates will be selected and will be presented a trophy. The winner will receive a crown, queen's bouquet, banner and $150 in cash. First alternate will receive $100 and second alternate will be presented a $50 cash prize. Miss Congeniality will be voted on by contestants and will receive a trophy. The People's Choice award allows the audience to vote for their favorite contestant with each vote costing $1 and attendees may vote as many times as they like. Containers with contestant's name and photo will be displayed for depositing of votes.

Each contestant is responsible for a $30 entry fee which must be paid by the Sunday, Aug. 13 deadline. A rehearsal will be Sunday, Aug. 13, at 5:30 p.m. Practice is not mandatory, but is strongly recommended. Checks should be made payable to Missouri Peach Fair. Junior Miss Peach Queen will be crowned Saturday, Aug. 26 at 8 p.m. at the bandstand at Morris-McCutcheon Park. This pageant-wear competition is for ages 12-15. Entry fee is $25 and the deadline is Sunday, Aug. 20 for entry form and fees. Contact directors Nikki Brooks at 573-217-1777 or Erica Brooks at 573-276-8770 for more information.

The crowning of Little Miss Peach Queen will immediately precede the Junior Miss pageant on Saturday, Aug. 26 beginning at 6 p.m. This pageant entry fee is $20 and will be conducted in pageant wear. Nikki and Erica Brooks will direct the pageant. Entry forms and fees for Junior Miss and Little Miss Peach Queen competitions may be mailed to directors Brooks at 1119 Monroe Street, Campbell MO 63933.

Little Miss Peach Blossom competition will be held Friday, Aug. 25 at 7:30 p.m. This pageant is for girls, ages 5-7 years. The pageant will be conducted in pageant wear. The entry fee is $20 and must be submitted with entry form by the deadline of Aug. 20. More information may be obtained by contacting director Dena Bedwell at 573-217-8813. A contest for Toddlers ages birth-4 years will be at noon Saturday, Aug. 26. Competition is for boys and girls and will be conducted in casual wear only.
