Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center will host a blood drive Friday, Jan. 21, at its main campus located at 3100 Oak Grove Road.
The event will take place from 1-5 p.m.
“The American Red Cross is facing a national blood crisis, it’s worst blood shortage in over a decade, posing a concerning risk to patient care,” the hospital said in a news release.
Hospital staff urge the public to “Come give an hour of your time ... and help save three lives.”
The event will take place in the facility’s Classroom No. 3, which can be found on the bottom floor past the cafeteria.
