The Top 30 seniors at Poplar Bluff High School were recognized at the 42nd annual Top 30 banquet Thursday night. After eating dinner, the honored seniors and their guests listened to the address given by PBHS alum Todd Bullington. Bullington currently is the executive vice president and chief lending officer at Sterling Bank in Poplar Bluff. Bullington introduced the students to his own, personal “Five Cs” for life: coachable — to accept correction; challenges to accept with resilience and develop strength; competitive — to maintain an edge for success; change — embrace it to move forward; and character — all decisions in all aspects affect character. In addition to officially recognizing the top 30 seniors, the school also named and recognized the top five members of the junior class.
