Melissa Bliss recently won a $100,000 prize after playing the “$500 Frenzy” Scratchers ticket from the Missouri Lottery, according to a press release. The $5 ticket was sold at Rick’s 66, 1114 International St., in Poplar Bluff. The ticket still offers two more unclaimed top prizes of $100,000.
All current Missouri Lottery tickets can be scanned on the Lottery’s mobile app or on Check-A-Ticket machines at retail to determine if a ticket is a winner.
In the most recent fiscal year, players in Butler County won more than $6.6 million in Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers in the county received almost $700,000, and an additional $3.7 million went to educational programs in the county.
