Annual Halloween activities will be held Oct. 31 in the city of Poplar Bluff, according to officials.

Several Poplar Bluff area churches will have Halloween Safe Zones for youth and their families over the next week. Events start Wednesday and will be held through Halloween.

Some local events include:

First Baptist Church, 551 N. Westwood Blvd., 6-8 p.m. Wednesday.

New Home General Baptist Church, 1864 State Highway AA, 6:30-8 p.m. Saturday. Will include free food, games and candy.

Fellowship General Baptist Church, 3581 N Westwood Blvd., 6 p.m. Sunday. Outside church.

First Church of God, 3482 S. Westwood Blvd., 4-6 p.m. Sunday. Includes games.

South Poplar Bluff General Baptist Church, 817 Arthur St., 4-6 p.m. Sunday.

Westwood Baptist Church, 419 County Road 5231, 6:30-8 p.m. Halloween. Will include bounce houses, live music and other activities. The church is accepting the donation of wrapped candy. Donations can be left in the church lobby. The church asks that there be no peanuts/peanut butter, due to allergies.

Sacred Heart Catholic Church and School, 825 Vine St., 6-8 p.m. Halloween. To be held in the upper level parking lot.

Mount Calvary Power House, 1875 Speedway Drive, 6 p.m. Halloween. To be held in the Family Life Center and Fellowship Hall. Events will include food, games and candy

New Covenant Fellowship/Agape Day Care, 3396 Kanell Blvd., 6-8 p.m. Halloween. All ages welcome.
