Parma resident seriously injured in Stoddard County crash

A 12-year-old Parma resident was seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash at 12:20 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3, on Highway Z, 10 miles east of Bernie.

According to the report, a 16-year-old Catron resident was operating a 2009 Ford Focus eastbound when it ran off the road and overturned.

The driver suffered minor injuries, as did her passengers, a 4-year-old boy and a 6-year-old boy, both of Dexter.

Another passenger was flown to LeBonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, for treatment.
