Poplar Bluff firefighters watch as a home-built motorized tricycle is loaded onto a rollback after it was involved in an accident Monday just after noon at the intersection of Pine Street and Broadway Street. According to police personnel on the scene, the tricycle and a Kia Soul both were traveling eastbound on Pine Street when the Kia's driver tried to change lanes and struck the left rear corner of the trike, flipping it over. The trike skidded about 30 yards along the pavement, coming to rest upside down. Its driver suffered injuries and was transported by EMS crews to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.DAR/Paul Davis
