A year after its inaugural tour of Southeast Missouri, the Mamm Van is coming back to offer more free breast cancer screenings.

Saint Francis Healthcare System, working together with the Saint Francis Healthcare System Foundation, will host events at three locations for the University of Missouri mobile mammography van in Dexter, New Madrid and Piedmont in July.

The Mamm Van represents Saint Francis Healthcare System's commitment to fighting breast cancer through increased access to screenings and early detection.

"We are very excited about the opportunity to bring mammograms directly to women in southeast Missouri," Wilferth said. "No matter the circumstances, whether it's a lack of insurance or challenges getting proper transportation preventing them from getting screened, we are fighting to make sure all women in our region have access to this lifesaving screening."

The Mamm Van will hold screenings at the following locations:

Fitness Plus Dexter Monday, July 9, from 1 to 5 p.m. Fitness Plus Dexter is located at 1212 W. St. Francis Street, Dexter, MO, 63841.

SEMO Health Network Tuesday, July 10, from 8 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 5 p.m. SEMO Health Network is located at 421 Semo Drive, New Madrid, MO 63869.

Piedmont Physician Associates, Wednesday July 11, 2018, from 8 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 5 p.m. Piedmont Physician Associates is located at Route 4 Box 4515, Piedmont, MO, 63957. Patients will be screened in 15-minute windows and insurance will also be accepted.
