Runners from children to adults will be able to compete this year when the Missouri Peach Fair holds is Missouri Peach Fuzz 5K Run/Walk Saturday, Aug. 26. Proceeds will benefit the Campbell Fire Department.
The Peach Fuzz 5K Run will be held at Walker McCutchen-Jim Morris Park in Campbell at 8 a.m. Although registration may be completed on race day, deadline is Aug. 1 for entry at the pre-registration fee. Entry fees are: $20 for children, ages 5-12, and includes a guaranteed shirt; $25 for adults with a shirt guaranteed; and $30 on race day. Registrations are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Once entry is received, no refunds will be given for any reason, including registrant's inability to compete, cancellation of event due to weather, natural disaster, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Both runners and walkers are welcome to participate, but organizers request no stroller pushers or pets.
To enter, send name, address, phone number, date of birth, age on race day, emergency contact number, and shirt size, along with registration fee to Peach Fuzz 5K, 4051 County Highway 248, Gideon, MO 63848, or send completed entry form with payment to same address.
