Opry at the Rodgers will feature the Moon Pie Band at 7 p.m. Saturday, while Haffy’s Sports Bar & Grill will host an Elvis tribute night starting at 6 p.m.

A look ahead at August also shows a busy line up of music, giving events, faith-based activities and more.

Upcoming events include:

— Parent’s Night Out, 5-9 p.m. July 26 WHERE Unity Academy 2, 4482 Highway PP COST $20, 2-12 years old, $30, birth-24 months old WHAT Unity Academy hosts a parent’s night out event.

— Christmas in July, 1 p.m. July 27 WHAT Mustardseed Artisan Market will host a class to paint Christmas doorhangers.

— Opry at the Rodgers, 7 p.m. July 27 (doors open at 5:30 p.m.) WHERE The Rodgers Theatre COST $10 per ticket. WHAT The Moonpie Band will headlines this annual country concert.

— Elvis tribute night, 6 p.m. July 27 WHERE Haffy’s Sports Bar & Grill WHAT An Elvis performer will bring the King back to life, according to organizers, with multiple outfit changes and covering hits from the 1950s-1970s.

— Life in the Water, 1 p.m. Aug. 3 WHERE Poplar Bluff Library, main branch WHAT Tom Allen, volunteer with Mingo National Wildlife Refuge, will talk about the wildlife that inhabits the water.
