A juvenile was shot shortly before 6 p.m. Tuesday in an incident in the 809 block of West Vine Street, according to Poplar Bluff police.
The victim was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment before being transported by air to a hospital in St. Louis, police reporter.
No arrests had been made as of 9:30 p.m. Tuesday and the incident remained under investigation, authorities said.
