J.C. Penney Co. unveiled its new beauty department Friday with a ribbon cutting.
Salon manager Victoria Griffith explained the new beauty department will now offer the store’s salon products and more.
“We have incorporated new lines along with our salon, so this merges our salon and beauty department,” she said.
The beauty department inside J.C. Penney prior to the new addition was a separate store, Griffith explained, now they have merged the two, allowing them to offer their own salon products in the new beauty department.
“We also have lots of new products, Jason Wu, Mineral Fusion, we have Mirabella, so many new types of skin care products, we have so many different options,” said Griffith.
Store hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon-6 p.m. Sundays.
