The 35th annual Trail Ride for Haven House will be Saturday, Sept. 21, at the farm of Larry and Robyn Hillis north of Poplar Bluff.

Haven House provides shelter and services for victims of domestic violence and or sexual violence.

Registration starts at 8 a.m and the ride, which will include 10 miles of wooded trail in the Mark Twain National Forest, begins at 10 a.m. There are gaited and non-gaited rides.

“The trail ride is such a fun event for the whole family,” said Haven House Executive Director Amber Tinker. “The trail ride is not only Haven House’s only annual fundraiser, it’s a chance for us to visit with friends, share stories, enjoy great music, and come together for a good cause.”

Tinker encouraged anyone who “may be curious about Haven House, our services, or the Trail Ride itself to come on out and let us share more about the work we do. Every contribution to our benefit is a step toward safety, hope, and healing for survivors. Together, we can make a lasting impact and change lives for the better.”

Anyone wanting to compete for prizes may collect pre-paid pledges. Anyone with donations of $25 or more will receive a free T-shirt.
