Greenville woman dies after struck by vehicle

A 28-year-old Greenville woman was killed when she was struck by a car at 3:37 a.m. Friday, July 17, on U.S. 67 in Greenville.

According to the report, Derrick T. Moore, 36, of Greenville was operating a 2014 Dodge Avenger southbound when it struck Christina M. Bryant in the road.

Bryant was pronounced dead at 4:38 a.m. by Wayne County Deputy Coroner Mark Smith.

Bryant is the 29th fatality in Troop E this year.
