Greenville R-II High School in Greenville, Mo., has announced Katherine Marie Bangert and Brandi LaRae Shearrer as students of the month for October.
Katherine Marie Bangert is a senior and the daughter of Jim and Mary Bangert of Coldwater, Mo. She is active in basketball, volleyball, track, cross country, softball (two years), FCS, FCCLA, FBLA, NHS, Beta Club and student council. Bangert enjoys the outdoors, playing sports, reading, drawing and hanging out with her youth group and friends. She plans to attend college to pursue her BSN and to run track and cross country. Bangert is undecided on a college at this time.
Brandi LaRae Shearrer is a senior and the daughter of Byron and Brenda Shearrer of Williamsville, Mo. She serves as Senior Beta Club president and vice president of the Senior class, is active in ETS, FCCLA, Art Club, Photography Club, volleyball, track, cross country, student council, choir, Honors Society and has been named Top Five every year. Shearrer enjoys playing piano and guitar, singing and playing with her cat. She plans to attend Three Rivers Community first then continue pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
