Trey M. Porter and Abigail D. Fox have been named November 2023 students of the month for Greenville High School. This information appears in the Wednesday, Nov. 8, print edition.
Porter is the son of Todd and Michele Porter of Williamsville. Fox is the daughter of Kevin and Melissa Fox of Greenville.
__Porter__
Porter is an active student who is a member of Senior Beta Club (current president), Future Business Leaders of America, Future Farmers of America, FCS, Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (current sentinel), Student Council, National Honor Society, Bear Ambassadors, and is senior class president. He is also a member of the Greenville High School Bears varsity baseball and basketball teams. Porter is an A+ student who will graduate with honors.
In his spare time, Porter enjoys hunting, sports, and hanging out with friends and family.
After graduation Porter plans on continuing his higher education and obtaining a degree in secondary education while playing college baseball.
__Fox__
Fox participates in many activities. She is an active member of FCCLA, Senior Beta Club, FBLA, NHS, Student Council, Yearbook staff, Bear Ambassadors and NHS. She has also participated on the Greenville High School Lady Bears basketball and volleyball teams. Fox is also an A+ student and will graduate with honors.
In her spare time, Fox enjoys spending time with friends and family.
In addition to graduating high school with honors, Fox will graduate from Three Rivers College with her Associate of Arts degree in May 2024. Fox has been accepted to Arkansas State University – Jonesboro and plans to become a physical therapist.
