“Join First Lady Teresa Parson and me in prayer for each other and for our state as we begin to reopen the great State of Missouri,” Parson said in Facebook postings. “We look forward to Monday, but please be safe, be smart and be responsible.

“Coronavirus is not gone, and we must continue to be proactive and maintain social distancing to protect not only ourselves, but everyone around us.”

Show Me Strong Recovery begins Monday with many businesses reopening, with social distancing and occupancy guidelines still in place.

“Lots of businesses have been asking different questions,” said Butler County Emergency Management Agency Director Robbie Myers. “We’ve been giving them answers on how they can prepared to open on Monday.”
